DITO done deal on Berjaya Bombardier

Dviation International Training Organisation (DITO) successfully completes EASA/DCAM Part-147 Approved Type Training for its esteemed client Berjaya Airways (BA) on the Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft type. The training was conducted for BA’s aircraft maintenance personnel including Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Aircraft Technicians. After having undergone a 6 weeks intensive program involving both theory and practical elements, BA’s engineers are now fully qualified to perform maintenance works and issue release certificates on their fleet.

In addition to maintenance training, DITO also provided technical assistance to BA to support its cabin crew Safety & Emergency Procedures training. This mandatory training by DCA is to ensure all BA cabin crew are trained to handle any emergencies for the duration of the aircraft in flight. This includes training on evacuation techniques, CPR and basic medical knowledge as well as use of safety equipment.

The trainings were conducted at DITO’s DCA approved training centre and was completed in time to meet BA’s launch of their new fleet into service. The close collaboration between both parties ensure a smooth and successful result for BA to meet its launch dateline.
