Dviation Group and ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia Announce Strategic Collaboration to Train Next-Generation Aircraft Maintenance Personnel
13th September, Selangor – Dviation Group is proud to announce its collaboration with ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia (ExecuJet), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation - a leading provider of MRO services specializing in high-end business jets from manufacturers, including Dassault, Gulfstream and Bombardier.
This strategic collaboration aims to develop the next generation of aircraft maintenance personnel to meet the growing needs of ExecuJet as it continues to expand its services in the Asia-Pacific region, having just moved into its brand new 149,500 square feet facility last May.
As part of the collaboration, Dviation Group, via its training division, Dviation Training Centre (DTC), will develop and deliver training programs that are specifically tailored to meet ExecuJet’s operating requirements.
ExecuJet’s focus on maintaining premium business jets demands a highly skilled workforce to fulfill its clients’ exacting needs – from cabin interior retrofits and customised In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) installations to avionics upgrades and modifications.
The first batch of ExecuJet trainees will begin their training in the first quarter of 2025, with training to take place at both DTC and ExecuJet’s facilities in phases. This marks a significant step forward in ensuring ExecuJet’s workforce is equipped with the expertise and knowledge required to maintain and enhance the performance of luxury jets, ensuring both safety and top-tier service quality throughout their lifespan.
Kevin Teoh, Group Managing Director of Dviation, said: “We are honoured and excited to embark on this journey with ExecuJet, as we contribute further towards talent development jointly. Our tailored programs mimic skills-based apprenticeship programs that have proven to be highly effective in producing highly skilled aviation professionals worldwide.”
“By including structured On-the-Job training (OJT) and mentoring, combined with industry-specific training, ExecuJet’s next-generation of maintenance personnel will be well-equipped to power their continued growth. Together, we are ensuring that the highest standards in aircraft maintenance and service excellence are upheld, for the benefit of our beloved industry and nation,” he added.
