Dviation Training Centre Expands Regional Partnerships with Three MoUs Signed at MRO Asia-Pacific 2025

17th September 2025, Singapore – Dviation Group, through its training arm Dviation Training Centre (DTC), has strengthened its footprint in the Philippines and Southeast Asia by signing three significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) at the MRO Asia-Pacific 2025 exhibition. The agreements, signed with ST Engineering Aerospace Services Company (STEASC), Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), and OMNI Aviation Corporation mark an important step forward in addressing the region’s pressing aviation workforce needs.

MOU with ST Engineering’s airframe MRO business on aircraft type training collaboration

Dviation's MoU with ST Engineering’s airframe MRO business in Singapore brings a strong partner into its regional network. The partnership will jointly deliver aircraft type training for both Airbus (A330, A350) and Boeing (B737MAX, B767, B777, B787) platforms, covering theoretical and practical training elements.

The agreement also sets a framework for instructor sharing, resource pooling, and co-development of structured talent programmes, ensuring that training is industry-aligned, scalable, and globally recognised. By combining ST Engineering's extensive aerospace expertise with Dviation's training leadership, the partnership aims to expand opportunities for aviation professionals across Southeast Asia and help strengthen the region’s aviation talent pool.

"Our latest partnerships reflect our commitment to bridging the skills gap in Asia- Pacific aviation," said Ibnu Hidayat, Chief Executive Officer of Dviation Training Centre.

"Technical training is an essential part to our aviation industry and this partnership will work well for our future training needs to have more aviation professionals,” commented Tan Boon Keng, Senior Vice President/Deputy General Manager, STEASC.

Building the Future of Aviation at Clark with CIAC

Dviation Group and CIAC will collaborate on developing a world-class aviation campus within Clark Freeport Zone. This strategic collaboration is aimed at positioning Clark as a premier hub for aerospace and aviation in the Philippines.

Through this initiative, both parties intend to create an integrated ecosystem that covers training, maintenance, and other aviation-related services. By developing a skilled workforce and enhancing aviation infrastructure, the partnership will not only uplift the capabilities of local professionals but also support the Philippines’ aspiration to become a key player in the regional aerospace industry.

"We're not just talking about another training facility," said Joseph P. Alcazar, President and Chief Executive Officer of CIAC. "This campus represents our vision of making Clark a true aviation powerhouse – a place where Filipino talent can train to world-class standards without having to look overseas."

Bringing EASA Standards to the Philippines with OMNI

The MoU with OMNI Aviation Corporation represents a long-term Training Service Agreement designed to bring globally recognised training standards directly to the Philippines. Dviation Training Centre will deliver European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) 147 Type Training Courses on various aircrafts.

By offering these courses locally, Filipino aviation professionals will no longer need to travel abroad to gain EASA certifications. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce costs for students and operators, while expanding access to world-class training within the country.

“This partnership with Dviation Training Centre will enable us to empower Filipino aviation professionals with the highest standards of training,” said Capt.Eleazar Cayago, Vice President of OMNI Aviation Corporation. “Together, we are not only strengthening our workforce, but also contributing to the development of the Philippines as a regional aviation hub.”

The partnership underscores both organisations’ shared commitment to advancing training capabilities and ensuring that the local workforce is aligned with international aviation benchmarks.

“By working with government, academia, and private training providers, we’re ensuring that the next generation of aviation professionals are future-ready and globally competitive,” added Mr Hidayat.
